- : That's crap. If AR is getting thinner and more pessimistic, then something
- : is not right with the world-wide state of the Amiga. Usually when I read
- : Jasons editorial in AR I can see how he is being more optimistic than he
- : 'really' should (or could) bother to be.
-
- What was wrong with Amiga Report 4.04's editorial? I expressed my
- opinion, shared by some others who have since contacted me, as to the
- importance of pre-announcements and hype. It was pointed out to me that
- Amiga Tech may actually be taking this into account. After all, they DID
- preannounce PowerPC.
-
- As for "thinner in the material", Amiga Report is on average over two
- times larger than it was in its first year of publication, 1993. Sorry
- if that's not good enough for you. By my reckoning, most Amiga magazines
- are smaller than they were back then--if they're still around at all.
-
- : Jason and his crew are doing a great job with AR, please don't insult them
- : by mentioning DMz in the same sentence.
-
- Particularly because at least if you don't like what I say, you've done
- it for free.
